Blip: Twitter for Music

We share our ideas, tell friends what we are doing right now via Twitter. We get more communication via text, words. So how about sharing and listening to music via some app like Twitter. Blip may be the tool you want.

Blip is a quick way to tell your friends what song you’re into right this minute. You also find out what your favorite people are listening to in real-time — no need to refresh the page. It is a way to suggest music and share your thoughts about it with a network of contacts.

Blip was created by FUZZ, a new breed of music company — combining a powerful artist promotion platform, a feature-rich interactive community of artists and fans, and a next-generation music label. As an artist or label you can stream and sell your music, post stuff to promote yourself or your bands, including an artist profile, individual band member profiles, photos, reviews, press and news. As a fan, you can set up a personal profile on the site, include photos, invite friends, and check out awesome new music in a number of ways. (via Techcrunch)
